CoRASS 2023 is one of the Thematic Conferences of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS)

WELCOME
The CoRASS 2023, 4th International Conference on Recent Advances in Design, Resilience and Strengthening of Structures, invites all the researchers to present work and collaborate in this event, that will take place in Coimbra, Portugal, 27th-29th November 2023.
The CoRASS conferences launched the Conferences of the European Community on Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (ECCOMAS) series of thematic events, in 2011, 2017 and 2019. They were medium-size conferences which allowed for dynamic and fruitful exchanges between participants. CoRASS 2023 being the fourth event aims to keep the interest of the previous and even expand the scientific knowledge interaction.
GOALS
The conference goals are to identify the application of the new formulations in the design and nonlinear analysis of structures made of different materials, with a special focus on the design, resilience and strengthening of existing structures.
The CoRASS 2023 is promoted by the Civil Engineering Department of the University of Coimbra and is organized under the umbrella of the INESC-C – Institute for Systems Engineering and Computers at Coimbra, CIM-Centro Internacional de Matemática and the ACIV – Associação para o Desenvolvimento da Engenharia Civil.
Other main goals of the conference are to promote the exchange of experiences within the participants and to encourage young researchers to collaborate in scientific conferences, by assigning the global best paper and the best paper submitted by a Young Researcher.
OUR GOALS
- Colaboration – encourage young researchers to collaborate in scientific conferences
International focus – by assigning the global best paper and the best paper submitted by a Young Researcher.
The CoRASS2023 Proceedings will be published in the ECCOMAS Site. The full length papers will follow a review procedure in order to be eligible for indexing in SCOPUS.
